Chapter 339 Curveball Bellwich Finished Lucas is sitting on the terrace of one of his favorite bistros he is feeling a little bit anxious because he hasn't heard from Alpha Alexander in a while now. He knows that they agreed that they wouldn't contact one another until Alpha Alexander found a way to get Giselle back to Onyx Star Pack.

Convincing her to return to Onyx Star Pack would be a bit tricky because Lucas knows that she had found out that her fated Mate had chosen another over her and on top of that his choice had been her Sister. Alpha Alexander had told him that it would be easy to get Giselle back with the help of King Damon, they would make it seem as if her parents had been brainwashing her. They expected that if her sister were to plead with the King for mediation to get Alpha Tate to release Giselle into Alpha Alexander's care, it would just be a matter of days. Lucas wasn't too convinced about it because one of his spies had informed him that Elias had an unhealthy interest in Giselle and it could be that Alpha Alexander was going to try and double-cross him, to make Giselle his own Mate or that of his Son.

Maybe it was tto pay a visit to Onyx Star Pack himself and to stop trusting his own mother, after all he had been disappointed by her more than once in his life and for sreason she never had his best interest at heart always her own or that of his younger sister.

"Lucas, it's good to see you again. Did you manage to take a look at all the information I sent you?" One of his lifelong friends asks him as he sits down across the table from him.

"Yes, I was able to read through all of it and I liked the deal that you made for me. It will make it possible forto get every detail worked out without any interruptions." Lucas replies.

If Lucas manages to buy the property he's interested in, he can keep Giselle hidden from everyone for long enough but also close to the Palace grounds.

It had taken Lucas almost three years to find a property not far from Palace grounds that no one was interested in and now he would be using it to keep his most prized possession hidden from the world.

Even though he knows that there is a possibility that Giselle doesn't possess any abilities or that she isn't a white Wolf, he knows that he needs to grab her before she turns eighteen.

If he has his hands on Giselle before she turns eighteen, he will have control over her and if it turns out that she is a white Wolf with abilities, he will forcefully mark her to get the rights to the Throne.

The only one who could have figured out whether or not she had any abilities was Alpha Alexander, but according to his Mother Giselle never showed any signs of any ability to Alpha Alexander and his Mother was never able to find out if Alexander was lying to her or not.

So all he could do now was to make sure that he would capture Giselle and keep her hidden from everyone until after her eighteenth birthday. He would have his answers by then and if she wasn't the one he was looking for, he might hand her over to Alpha Alexander.

He couldn't kill Giselle even if he wanted to, because she could be the Mother of the next white Wolf. He couldn't risk killing her and killing his chances of getting access to the throne, somewhere down the line. Lucas and his accomplices set up a meeting with the family that was selling the property; they needed to get everything in place as soon as possible.

It was still a month until Giselle's eighteenth birthday, but tseems to fly when you are busy plotting against the Throne.

Three days after meeting with the seller, Lucas sends one of his accomplices to the mansion. The place was run down and needed a few upgrades to make it livable for them; it would be hfor a while. Lucas even thought about keeping Giselle here for a few moments, but he knew that he needed the Kingdom to see her by his side and that meant that she had to stay at the Palace. He did find another purpose for the mansion though; he would use it to house his lover.

No one knows that he found his fated Mate when he turned eighteen, they hid the truth because Jack never told anyone that he was into males and there is one reason why Lucas never revealed it: he needed Jack in his life.

Once the mansion has been upgraded, Jack will move there with Lucas. Yes, Jack is aware of what Lucas is planning on doing and he doesn't give a rodent's behind.

Like Lucas, Jack believes that he deserves so much more in life. Unfortunately, he isn't willing to work for it and with Lucas on the Throne he gets what he has always wanted. A cozy, lazy life.

The mansion gets re-decorated from back to front, from the basement to the attic. New curtains in every room, comfortable couches and armchairs m throughout the mansion and the ve kitchen gets replaced by a new one. New appliances, like a coffee machine, furnace, oven and anything else you can think of. The largest room on the top floor is fitted with a high-end security lock, only Lucas' thumbprint and iris will be able to open the door. When it comes to keeping Giselle from escaping, they aren't willing to cut corners. An alarm system is installed with cameras and motion sensors, a room on the first floor will be the security office with screens mounted on the wall and enough appliances to keep them from wandering around the mansion too much.

It was a condition that Jack had, not just for himself but also for Giselle. He didn't want her to knowhowm 't want to many people would be inside the mansion at any given time, just in case she saw a way to communicate with the outside world.

Lucas should have listened to his gut feeling, he should have reached out to Alpha Alexander and maybe hel should have never trusted his Mother. Nothing is going to be left to change or so they seem to think, because sometimes life throws you a curveball.
