Chapter 457 Lilian's Last Hurrah Lilian's POV: +8 Pearls I sat up in bed, the soft thud of the door shutting as my father left echoing through the quiet house. He must've gone to the company, leaving onlyand the housekeeper behind.

I crept downstairs, each step careful and deliberate. The housekeeper was in the kitchen, lost in her work. Perfect.

I slipped into the storage room at the corner of the first floor. My eyes scanned the shadows until I found it-the rifle. My father's short hunting gun, tucked away in an old metal box. He'd mentioned only a month ago that it was still in working order.

It was the perfect time.

I lifted the rifle, the magazine still intact, its weight solid in my hands. It was powerful-far more so than a regular gun. But against an Alpha wolf king, it wouldn't do much. Rosaline, though, wasn't an Alpha. She was just an Omega.

I moved quickly, slipping the rifle into the pocket of my coat and stepping back into the hallway. "Leynelle," I called softly, "I'm just stepping out for a bit. Gonna grab sfood. I'll be back soon." The housekeeper appeared, concern in her eyes. I waved it off with a smile. "I'm fine, really. Don't worry. Į won't cause any more trouble." Once outside, I pulled out my phone, scrolling through until I found the article I'd saved.

Rosaline had been on set recently, right? Perfect. I'd make sure she learned what it meant to regret everything.

I gave the taxi driver the address for the film set. "Takehere. I'm visiting a friend." Half an hour later, I arrived at the set.

I surveyed the area, eyes landing on Rosaline and Jasper by the director's monitor. I moved silently, blending with the crowd as I crept closer.

"Cut!" the werewolf director called, grinning at the footage on the screen.

"Jasper, you nailed it. You captured the character's inner conflict, the sadness in your eyes-it was perfect. No wonder you've got that best actor award." Jasper smiled, shaking his head in humble disbelief. "That's all thanks to you, director. Actors and directors - we're a team." "Enough with the modesty. I just watched it with the director. You did great. But the next scene, when the military takes the lead actor-it's crucial. There are a few things we need to iron out ... " Rosaline smiled back at him, her voice warm. "Don't worry. We'll get it right." Jasper laughed, and they moved off to the side, deep in conversation about the scene.

The set was a blur of activity, people rushing in and out lights flickering, cameras rolling. No one noticedslip in.

Their words were muflled, but it didn't matter. The sight of them, smiling at each other like that, was enough to make my blood boil.

I moved faster, closing the distance between us. My gaze locked on Rosaline, and I hissed her nlike a snake's venom. "Rosaline." She snapped her head toward me, startled, her eyes wide. Jasper's face mirrored her shock, confusion pulling his brows together.

"Lilian? What are you doing here?" he asked, his voice sharp with concern.

"Rosaline, you Omega bitch!" I snarled, my teeth gritted so hard I thought they might crack.

Before Rosaline could even respond, Jasper stepped in, his tone sharp and defensive. "What the hell are you talking about?" His eyes flashed with a mix of confusion and anger.

I looked at the man I loved, and my heart twisted painfully. A surge of bitterness hithard. I blinked, but tears spilled over, betraying me. I couldn't stop them.

Not when I'd just seen the way Jasper had looked at her his eyes full of warmth and affection, everything I'd hoped for, now given to her.

For him, I'd destroy her. This Omega bitch didn't deserve him.

Jasper's face hardened, his voice cold and commanding "This is a film set. Get out. Now." I locked eyes with him, my heart crashing into my ribs. But I had no tfor him now. I turned my full attention back to Rosaline. My anger boiled over like a storm, pouring out with every word I spoke. "You think you've won, huh? First, you seduced Caden, only to get tossed aside. And now you've wormed your way into Jasper's life, making him your backup plan."

I sneered, my voice thick with disgust. "You look all sweet and innocent, but you're nothing but an cheap, slutty Omega. I should've torn your mask off in front of the cameras, shown the world what you really are. The president of Starplay Entertainment, reduced to a fucking whore who'll sleep with anyone." I could feel my hand reaching for the rifle in my bag, my fingers brushing the cold metal.

Rosaline frowned, her gaze sharp, but still laced with that fake concern. "Lilian, are you out of your mind?" "YES!" I screamed, my voice cracking under the weight of everything I was holding back.

The scene had drawn the attention of everyone nearby. Eyes turned to me, confusion and surprise etched on ΝΟ their faces. Sreached for me, but I shoved them away with a force | didn't know I had.

"I don't get it! How is it that a disgusting Omega like you can play both sides, have both of them wrapped around your finger? Myn voice trembled with fury. "Rosaline, EX you're a master of manipulation. And you've ruined me. You trappedin that police station for days. You nearly destroyed the Moonveil Pack, all for your own twisted games. You owe me, Rosaline. You oweeverything!" My voice rang out, raw and desperate. The words seemed to hang in the air, thick with the weight of 2/3 TO: Wed, Apr 2 YB Chapter 457 Lilian's Last Hurrah everything I'd lost +8 Pearls D 1.8K mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofifl0&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
