Chapter 1050

She spent ages thinking it over, and now, her only shot was to call her dad, hoping he'd hire a lawyer to get

them out of this mess. Blake and Lydia had lost their mom early on, and when their dad remarried, he moved

abroad, pretty much leaving them to fend for themselves. Only because Blake and Lydia had made a nfor

themselves in the medical and design fields, adding sshine to his reputation, did he bother to call once in a

while. But now that they were knee-deep in trouble, would their dad even care?

Blake really didn't want to make that call, but they had no other options. Gathering her nerve, she told the officer

they needed to call their family to get a lawyer involved. The officer didn't give them the tof day, too

wrapped up in his own stuff. They were completely ignored.

Blake was so frustrated she felt sick to her stomach, yet there was nothing she could do.

"Please cin."

The door to the interrogation room swung open, letting in a flood of light. Blake and Lydia instinctively glanced

up to see Howell and Kaylee walk in, with Beck trailing behind them. Suddenly, the officer who had brushed

them off was all smiles and respect. "What are you doing here!" Lydia's voice cracked with emotion, her eyes

already red with anger and hurt. "Haven't you messed withenough! What do you want now?"

"We don't have the tto mess with you," Howell said, settling into the chair across from her, adjusting his

glasses. "You're not worth the trouble."

Lydia had cornered herself.

Initially, they hadn't paid her any mind, dismissing her as a mere nuisance.

Not worth the effort! Can you believe it? They said she wasn't worth the effort!

Lydia snapped, her voice hysterical. "Not worth it? With my talent, if it wasn't for Flora, if it wasn't for your

meddling, I'd have caught Rose's eye and becher apprentice. I'd have made waves in the fashion world!"

"So, what? You're here to gloat?"

Kaylee and Howell stared at her coolly.

Once Lydia finished, Kaylee finally spoke up: "You've always wanted to know if Flora was Rose, right?"

A chill ran down Lydia's spine. "What do you mean?"

Beck leaned in, curious as ever. He

and Moss had a bet going, trying to figure out if Flora was indeed Rose. The doser would have to wash the

winner's socks for a month!

Kaylee pulled a document from her bag and handed it to Lydia. "Take a look."

Lydia, hands shaking, opened the document. Right there on the first page, in bold letters: -Rose's Studio, CEO,

and Legal Representative: Flora.

Lydia stared, feeling like her blood had turned to ice. Rose's Studio.t belonged to Flora. So Flora was actually

Rose. The Flora she had always dismissed... was her@dol,

Rose, all along.

Blake was equally floored. Even if she didn't follow fashion closely, she knew how big a deal Rose was. The Flora

they had looked down on was actually Rose.

Beck was just as blown away. No

way. Their Ms. Flora, so

accomplished, was the famous Rose! Could he ask Ms. Flora to whip up skiller outfits for Kim, ones that

would really knock Moss's socks off?

"Impossible... impossible..." Lydia broke down completely, burying her face in her hands, sobbing. Flora was

Rose, the Flora she had so underestimated, was Rose... Couldn't handle it, huh?

Beck chuckled and asked the officer, "They mentioned making a call to get bailed out, right?"

The officer nodded.

"Alright, hand her the phone, let her make the call."
