There was nothing Stephanie possibly had to talk about with Olivia. Might as well go straight for the jugular.
But since Chris had cto her personally, there was no doubt in her mind that Olivia still wasn’t behaving,
even with three kinds of cancer.
‘Guess God hasn’t been hard enough on her yet, she wondered.
Since Olivia wanted to stir up trouble, fine. Stephanie would play along.
“Hold on: letmake a call first,” she said.
“To who?” Chris asked.
To my baby. Can't | check in with him about my plans?” Stephanie said.
Chris nearly choked on his own breath, feeling like he might just drop dead right there. “You have gone...”
Before he could finish, Stephanie shoved him aside and stepped away to dial Sebastian.
The call connected quickly, and Sebastian’s smooth, gentle voice cthrough. “Off work already?”
“I'm heading to the hospital for a bit. Should be back in about half an hour. Are you hyet?”
“Not yet,” he said.
“Okay, then I'll head over first, bye,” she smiled.

Stephanie muttered, “Can’t exactly leave without playing them badly first.” With that, she ended the call. After
all, she had unfinished business with the Hart family, especially Olivia.
Best-case scenario, Olivia would just drop dead before Stephanie left for Fiorenza. If not, Stephanie would
personally make sure Olivia ended up in prison.
Just as she turned around, her phone rang again, Ella.
Stephanie picked up. “Hello, Ella.”
“I saw an emerald | liked and sent it to you. Helpcheck it,” Ella said.
“Don’t have tright now. Send it over, and I'll check later,” said Stephanie.
“What are you busy with?” Ella asked.
“Olivia's at it again,” she said.
Ella paused for a beat. Olivia was such a queen. “She has three types of cancer and still has the energy to
act up?”
Stephanie snorted. “That's right. I'm just going to see if she’s actually sick.”
“Yeah, you better. Wouldn't put it past her to be faking just to drag you down,” she added.
“Got it.” Stephanie ended the call and turned only to see Chris, clearly impatient, limping toward her.
Still limping? Tsk. Looks like | kicked him hard. But that’s not enough,’ she wondered, wanting to cripple him.

“Done with your call?” His tone was laced with irritation.
Stephanie put her phone away. “Yep. Let's go.”
She'd thought half an hour would be plenty. But Olivia's hospital was much farther from her stuthan
expected. Just getting there took forty minutes. In the hospital room.

In the ward, Stephanie crossed one leg over the other, idly filing her nails with a manicure knife.
Stephanie's nail had chipped when she hit Lilian earlier, and she hadn't had tto get it fixed.
Olivia, watching Stephanie's casual, completely unbothered demeanor, felt her teeth grind with hatred. Her gaze
shifted to Chris. “Chris, can you step out for a moment? I'd like to talk to Stefi alone.”
Chris hesitated, glancing at Olivia with a trace of concern.
In his eyes, Stephanie was an unpredictable wild card like that tshe had attacked Olivia right outside the
Ashford Group's building.
That scene had been pure chaos. Without hesitation and no holding back, the woman fought like an absolute
maniac.
Seeing Chris’ worry, Olivia smirked inwardly. “It’s fine,” she reassured him. “Go ahead.”

anything reckless.”
Stephanie let out a low chuckle. “Oh, | can’t promise that.”
If Olivia was simply creating trouble for no good reason, even if she had cancers, Stephanie wouldn't let her get
away with it.
Not like Stephanie was afraid of a little false accusation. She never let things go easily.
A few years ago in Fiorenza, Stephanie had enough of being threatened by the Casalini family.
Now that the members of the Hart family could no longer threaten Sebastian, she was even less willing to
tolerate them.
“Shut up...” said Chris. He nearly exploded with anger at Stephanie's words.
