Chapter 672 Chapter 672 Heartbreak *Selena* I didn't know why Zander had textedto meet him at this hotel, but I hurried over, excitement bubbling inside me. Maybe he had a surprise planned, or maybe he just wanted us to have sintimate ttogether. Either way, the thought sent a thrill through me.

My heart pounded as I reached the room number he had mentioned. I smoothed down my dress, took a deep breath, and knocked on the door, waiting for him to open it.

A few moments passed before the door finally swung open. But instead of Zander, Anne stood in the doorway- her robe barely tied, revealing far too much skin beneath it.

My stomach dropped.

"Oh, Se... Selena..." she stammered, her voice laced with nervousness. She quickly pulled the robe tighter around herself, but the damage was already done.

A cold dread washed over me. "What... what are you doing here?" My voice cout hoarse, barely above a whisper.

Anne hesitated before forcing an awkward smile. "I... uh... I could ask you the sthing." I narrowed my eyes. "I thought this was my husband's room." "Y-yeah, it is," she said, swallowing hard. "He's... he's sleeping right now." My breath caught in my throat as her words sank in. Anne-half-naked, standing in my husband's hotel room-tellinghe was asleep inside.

I pushed past her, my heart pounding painfully in my chest. The moment my eyes landed on the bed, my worst fears were confirmed.

Two empty whiskey glasses sat on the nightstand. And Zander... he was sprawled across the bed, completely naked, his body tangled in the sheets.

I gasped, my hands flying to cover my mouth. My entire world tilted.

No. No, this couldn't be real. The Goddess wouldn't be this cruel.

But the scent of Anne was everywhere on the sheets, in the air, on him. There was no denying what had happened in this room.

Tears burned behind my eyes as I stumbled back, my mind screaming for this to be a terrible misunderstanding. But the evidence was right in front of me. My mate... my husband... had betrayed me.

Without thinking, I shouted my mate's name.

"Zander Blake!" My voice shook with rage as I screamed. "Get up! Now!" But he didn't move a muscle. He was still fast asleep, completely unaware of the storm raging inside me.

My fists clenched as I stared at him, lying there so peacefully. Did he enjoy his night with my half-sister so much that he was too exhausted to even wake up? The thought made my blood boil. My anger burned hotter than my heartbreak.

I grabbed the nearest pillow and swung it at his face-hard.

"Wake up and answer me!" I yelled, my voice cracking as tears streamed down my cheeks.

Zander groaned and shifted slightly before finally opening his eyes. He blinked sluggishly, as if waking from the deepest sleep.

Great. He had never been this exhausted after spending the night with me-even on the nights we made love multiple times.

A sharp pang of betrayal stabbed through my chest. Was my half-sister better than me? "Babe?" he murmured groggily, rubbing his eyes. He squinted atin confusion. "Why are you shouting? And why the fuck are you crying?" He frowned and sat up, not bothered by his nakedness.

My breath hitched. Was he serious? "Are you serious, Zander?" I sobbed, my voice thick with hurt. "You're askingwhy I'm crying while you're lying here naked in a hotel room-with my half-sister-who is alse naked?" My voice cracked as I bellowed again, my chest heaving. "What other reason could there be, Zander?! You betrayed me!" Anne, who had been silent until now, suddenly mumbled, "Wait... half-sister?" I didn't even look at her. I didn't care. She was nothing to me. I had long accepted that my family never loved me.

But him? The man who vowed to cherishfor eternity? The father of my child- the child I was carrying for the second time? He was the one who truly shattered me.

Zander's face twisted in confusion before he turned to Anne. His eyes widened in horror as he finally took in her state.

"What the hell are you doing here? And why are you not wearing proper clothes?" he demanded, his voice laced with anger.

Anne, unfazed by his reaction, crossed her arms over her barely covered chest and smirked. "Zander, stop pretending. We're engaged. It's perfectly fine for us to sleep together." en Zander's expression darkened, his jaw tightening. "We are not engaged, Anne," he growled. "Our engagement was off the moment I found Selena again. When will you finally accept that?" Anne's smirk faltered for a split second before she masked it with feigned innocence.

I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms as I fought back the storm of emotions threatening to consme.

"Drop the act, Zander. You two can have each other now. Letdo you a favor and remove myself from the pleture. My voice dripped with bitterness as I took a step back. Was this what he wanted all along? To stringalong, just to breakinto pieces? "Wait, baby-it's a misunderstanding! I have nothing to do with Anne!" Zander scrambled off the bed, reaching for me.

But I stepped away before he could touch me.

"Who should I believe, Zander? You? Or my own damn eyes?" My voice cracked, my heart shattering all over again.

His mouth opened, but I didn't wait for an answer. "I'm done with youn won Alpha King." The words t tasted like poison on my tongue as I spat them out. Without looking back, I turned on my heels and stormed out of the room.

The moment I stepped out of the hotel, the weight of my heartbreak threatened to crush me. The pain En was unbearable, suffocating. So I ran.

I ran through the streets, past the towering buildings, past everything that remindedof him-of us.

By the tI reached the packhouse, my legs burned, and my chest ached, but I didn't stop.

I packed my things with trembling hands, shoving clothes into a bag without caring.

This was the end of everything.
