Chapter 0275
Judy's POV
Enough thad passed, and | finally decided to go back to my hotel suite. | needed to change clothes before 1
went to the resort workout room and started my day. | needed to spend the rest of my day training with some
others. But first, | needed to get this massive hangover under control.
| was relieved when | didn’t see Gavin in the halls when | returned to the floor. | had to pass by his room to get to
mine, | made sure to tiptoe, not wanting him to know that was walking by.
Then again, he was a Lycan... he probably knew | was in the elevator.
Once | got to the door, | realized | didn’t have my actual room key. | just had to hope and pray that Nan was
there. | knocked on the door, trying to be loud enough for Nan to hear me, but quiet enough that Gavin doesn’t.
Not that it mattered, he knew | was there. | know he did... but the question was, would he open his door and
confront me? | probably shouldn't have run away like that; probably should have stayed and explained the
situation to him. But | was so embarrassed that | ended up in his bed last night that the only thing | could think
of
was to run away.
Not before long, the door swung open, and | spun around, not realizing | was facing Gavin's room. Nan stood on
the other side of the door, her arms folded across her chest and a smirk on her lips.

“Well, look who decided to return to our room,” she said, her brows raised as she took in my clothes, realizing !
was still in the sdress | wore to the banquet last night | didn’t get a chance to look at myself in the mirror
this morning, but | could only imagine how | must have looked. My hair was probably all over the place and |
most likely had makeup smudges all over my pale face.
| stepped into the room and Nan shut the door behind me. | could feel her eyes burning a hole in the back of my
head.
“Did you have a good night with Gavin?” Nan shockedby asking.
| gasped and spun around to face her, my eyes wide.
“H... how did you know?” | asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
She studiedfor a moment; her face remained stoic until | found the crack in her resolve. The corner of her lip
twitched ever so slightly, indicating that she wasn’t really, and she found it amusing.
“Let's just say... | have a good eye for detail,” she said, her eyes scanning my dress.
| felt self-conscious under her scrutiny and my cheeks burned even more with embarrassment. Before | could
say anything, she burst out laughing.
| was startled by the outburst and stared up at her; | saw that she was holding the bedpost, keeping herself from
falling over as she doubled over in a heap of laughter.
“Oh, Goddess,” she laughed. “You should seriously see the look on your face.”
| pressed my lips in a tight line.

| tried to remember last night and a slight memory of seeing Nan appeared in my head. | remembered her

though | was completely wrong.
“You shut the door, and | couldn't get in. | knocked but it was no use. | realized what room you were in and |
knew you'd be fine. Maybe super embarrassed once you figured it out... but | knew he wouldn't let anything
happen to you. So, | went back to our room,” she said that last part while shrugging.
“I really wish you tried harder, Nan,” | murmured, closing my eyes as the memory of last night replayed in my
mind.
I had sex with Gavin.
“Did you have a bad night?” She asked with a worried frown. “He didn’t go too far... did he?”
| knew what she was asking, and | couldn't really say anything bad about Gavin besides how he treatedthese
last couple of weeks. But as far as last night goes... | knew he was drunk too. | could smell the boos on his
breath, and he was acting out of character just like | was. We were both in a tough spot and we let our feelings
cloud our judgment.
It was a choice between two drunk adults, and there was nobody at fault. | was just mortified over the fact that |
ended up in his room unannounced. It looked so bad... how was | going to explain myself? How would | ever face
him again?
