Chapter 150 Nancy let out a soft sigh, "I just prefer you." At least right now, Judson was far easier on the eyes than Cyrus.

Judson couldn't help but cheer, leaning over to plant a quick kiss on Nancy's cheek.

Nancy jumped a little, her tone turning stern. "Hey, keep your eyes on the road!" Watching Nancy turn pink with frustration, Judson chuckled under his breath. "I'm just really happy. I knew you had good taste, Nancy." Nancy was momentarily speechless. Was that a compliment for her or for himself? The car fell into a comfortable silence, the air much lighter and merrier than before.

Judson, after a moment of deep thought, finally spoke up again. "So, Nancy, what are we going to do now that Cyrus, that jerk, is living next door?" Nancy had been pondering the sissue. She bit her lip thoughtfully.

Suddenly, Judson perked up. "Nancy, why don't we just move?" Nancy frowned, not entirely convinced. "I'll think about it." It wasn't like she was attached to Cyrus. This house was the closest to her office, and it was her first real investment from her early career earnings.

Move out because of Cyrus? No way! Judson misinterpreted her hesitation. What did she mean by "think about it"? Did Nancy still have feelings for Cyrus? No, absolutely not! Judson's eyes flickered with determination. He needed to find a way to convince Nancy to move with him.

But before Nancy and Judson could resolve their thoughts, twenty minutes later, they arrived at the office. Their faces fell instantly at the sight before them.

The entrance was overwhelmed with red roses, their fragrance pervading the air. In the midst of the flowers stood Cyrus, gazing at her with an intensity that was all too familiar.

"Nancy, you're a bit late. Did something hold you up?" Nancy's eyes narrowed with disgust. She ignored Cyrus and turned sharply to the security guard, her voice icy. "Who allowed this guy to stand here?" Cyrus' smile froze awkwardly.

The security guard recoiled, clearly intimidated by the intensity of Nancy's fury. "Miss Lena, he claimed to be your husband. I told him to leave, but he insisted on waiting with the flowers." he explained.

Nancy's anger flared. "You're fired. I can't have a security guard who can't even manage the door." The guard's face paled instantly.

Judson's deep voice cut through the tension. "Everyone here knows I'm Lena's husband How dare srandom guy pretend to be me? You're fired for good reason." The guard dared not utter another word, feeling the weight of Judson's unspoken threat.

The atmosphere plummeted to an all-tlow.

"Go away," Nancy said to Cyrus, her voice dripping with disdain. "Or I'll call the cops."

Cyrus felt a twist in his gut, aware of the curious stares from passersby. ve His pride was on the line. The content.
