Chapter 154 Winnie walked in from outside, her face noticeably tense.
"Lena, you and Judson should avoid the front door. That loser ex of yours is hanging around out there, waiting for you. Seriously, it's a total buzzkill." Judson narrowed his eyes dangerously, clearly not in the best of moods.
Even Nancy's face dropped for a moment: "What a lunatic." They'd already kicked him out of the office, so what was he doing here?! Ever heard that belated affection is as worthless as weeds? "Yeah, he's a lunatic. You and Judson should take my car and leave through the back door." Winnie handed her car keys to Nancy. "I'll just catch a ride with Orlando later." Judson's eyes lit up at this and he immediately fiddled with his phone.
Nancy took the keys, "Alright, Judson and I will head out now. Senda message when you get home." "No problem." Winnie smiled.
With that, Judson put away his phone and left with Nancy, holding her hand.

His voice was tinged with impatience, "Why isn't Nancy coming down yet? It's past quitting time." "Could it be she's avoiding you, Mr. Gordon?" Caleb, the driver, thought to himself but dared not voice it. Suddenly, Caleb saw Cyrus open the car door and instinctively said, "Mr. Gordon, ma'am specifically instructed you not to go upstairs..." "Shut up. Just because she said I can't go up doesn't mean I won't," Cyrus snapped, his voice laced with irritation.
Caleb fell into a dignified silence.
Just as he was about to say something, a car pulled up beside them.
A young man hopped out, his voice full of excitement, "Winnie, you said she took your car from the back? Letgive you a ride hthen." With that, the man dashed inside.
Both Cyrus and Caleb heard it, but neither looked particularly surprised.
"So the missus already drove home." No wonder it was getting dark, and there was no sign of her or her car.
Everything made sense now.
Cyrus felt only bitterness, his fists clenching tight: "Does Nancy really have to avoidlike the plague?" Hearing Cyrus' self-deprecating tone, Caleb glanced over at him.
Before he could say anything, Cyrus tightened his lips: "Takehome. If Nancy doesn't want to seeat the office, then she'll seeat home." There were just smisunderstandings between him and Nancy. A simple sit-down would clear it all up. After all, they loved each other deeply.
Caleb quickly nodded, "Yes, sir." As the car started moving, Cyrus' phone rang again.
Thinking it was Nancy, he eagerly answered without even checking the caller ID: "Honey."

But before his hopes could align, a shy voice cthrough the line: "Cyrus, you don't mind if I answer to that, do you?" Cyrus' smile froze, and he quickly pulled the phone away to check the caller ID. His excitement vanished instantly.
It wasn't Nancy...
Not hearing Cyrus respond, the voice on the other end grew less jubilant: "Cyrus, I was just joking earlier. Don't be mad.
"Sarah, why are you calling?" Cyrus asked, his tone now cold.
Sarah didn't seem upset by his chilly demeanor; instead, she chuckled softly.
"Cyrus, could I invite you to the auction tomorrow night? I'm in need of a date and well, you owefor helping with that villa purchase." "Nancy, you promised a few days ago that you'd taketo the auction tomorrow night."
Judson's eyes sparkled as he looked at Nancy, a hint of worry in his vidice: "Nancy, you're not going to back out, are you?"
