Chapter 204 Potter hesitated for a moment, looking somewhat dissatisfied at Lenard's disapproving expression. "Lenard, isn't it okay forto like Miss Lena? She's the most wonderful girl I've ever met." "Of course it's not okay. Aren't you aware of the relationship between Judson and Nancy? Lettell you, the one thing Nancy hates the most is a homewrecker." Potter protested, "I don't want to be a homewrecker... But if Judson and Miss Lena break up, can I pursue Lena?" "Yes," Lenard replied without a second thought. "But as long as Judson and Nancy are together, don't even think about causing trouble. Consider yourself warned.' With that, Lenard waved his hand in frustration and walked away.
Potter stood there, caught in a whirl of emotions. He knew about Lena and Judson's relationship, having seen them together at the fundraiser. He had thought he could keep his feelings in check, but whenever he saw Lena, his heart betrayed him. What should he do? He really didn't want to give up on Lena. Meanwhile, at the nearby café, Michael observed Judson's gloomy demeanor with amusement. "No wonder Nancy suggested you stay hand rest. You just had to calong, huh? So, Potter's your rival in love." It made sense, given Lena's undeniable charm and beauty.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJudson shot Michael a cold look. "Are you here to gloat or do you just want a reason to annoy me?" Michael raised his hands in mock innocence. "Neither, I swear. I found out something big. Apparently, your younger brother is planning to have his mistress take center stage at the fashion show. This woman isn't just bold; she's a firecracker. You think she might cause trouble for Lena?" "She wouldn't dare!" Judson growled, his expression darkening.
Michael smirked slightly, saying, "Whether she dares or not, sof my company's artists will be there too. If she's got the nerve to mess with Lena..." "Then my brother will regret it," Judson said through clenched teeth. If it weren't for Nancy insisting he rest at home, he'd be storming into that show himself.
Inside the conference room, Nancy looked up curiously as Lenard walked in. "Where's Mr. Potter?" Lenard silently added, "Hopefully far away," but kept it to himself, not wanting to upset Nancy. With a sigh, he sat down, still visibly annoyed.
"Nancy, what do you think of Potter?" he asked.
"You mean professionally? He's quite talented," Nancy replied honestly.
Relieved, Lenard studied Nancy's clear eyes. It seemed she wasn't interested in Potter at all. If he were in her shoes, he'd choose Judson too-charming, sweet, and, let's be honest, quite the looker with a knack for standing up for himself.

"Miss Lena, do you prefer iced Americanos or lattes?" Just as Nancy was about to answer, Lenard interjected, "Nancy prefers green tea." Especially the kind that reminds her of Judson.
Potter was speechless.
Nancy shot Lenard a warning glance. "Mr. Potter, I'm fine with anything as long as it's iced she took a sip from the cup. "This is quite good. Now, shall we discuss our vision?"
Seeing Nancy switch to work mode, Potter quickly pushed aside his personal feelings. "Of course Nancy pulled out a stack of design sketches from her briefcase. "These are my base designs. This upcoming show doubles as a star-studded awards gala." Her lips curled into a small smile. "The celebrities might not walk with a model's grace, but their fan base is massive." She pointed to one of the sketches with her elegant fingers. "This is the gown and jewelry set I've designed for the finale, and the this 'Subtle Elegance.""
As Nancy spoke, Potter's eyes lit up at the sight of the sketches. Exem Lenard was taken aback, his eyes widening in surprise. "Nancy, did you cup with this just recently?"
