Chapter 67 Nancy didn't even bother to look up. "More or less." Lenard was at a loss for words.

"Putdown." Nancy's warning gaze landed on Judson, clearly a bit miffed.

Judson saw her irritation and panicked, quickly setting Nancy down. "Babe, don't be mad. Uh, I care about you too much..." By the end of his sentence, his eyes were visibly reddening, on the verge of tears.

Lenard's eyes widened in surprise, staring at the scene before him. "Nancy, where did you find this pure soul in that quaint little vineyard?" "Enough talk." Nancy briskly started walking. "You two, follow me." Despite having a good rapport with her stucolleagues, Nancy didn't enjoy being the center of unwanted attention.

Watching Nancy walk away, Lenard finally snapped out of his daze, intending to follow.

Suddenly, someone maliciously shoved him aside with great force. Lenard couldn't stabilize himself and fell face- first to the ground, landing with a classic faceplant! Groaning in pain, Lenard lifted his head only to meet Judson's gaze, towering above him with eyes full of icy disdain.

Their eyes locked, and Lenard could feel an intense chill emanating from Judson, freezing the air around them. For reasons unknown, Lenard felt a fear he couldn't describe.

Judson's eyes were a cold abyss. He scoffed coldly before turning to chase after Nancy. "Babe, wait for me." The whiny tone contrasted starkly with his previously cold demeanor, looking as if they were two different people. Left behind, Lenard shuddered at the memory of Judson's glare, realizing it wasn't an average Joe. This man was more ferocious than an untamed beast.

"It looks like my buddy's got himself a formidable rival." With that thought, Lenard finally stepped into the office. Inside, Judson was half-kneeling beside Nancy, his hands on either side of her chair, almost enveloping her. Despite his forceful demeanor, his eyes were red and teary, a picture of grievance. "Nancy, are you mad at me? It's all my fault. Seeing another guy hugging you... Babe, please don't be mad, okay?" "Don't callbabe. Use my name!" Nancy frowned. "Stand up." Judson gently rubbed his face against Nancy's thigh, his voice soft and appeasing, "Babe, you are mad. I don't want to stand up." Nancy was helpless.

Lenard, who had just pushed the door open, couldn't help but burst into laughter at the scene.

Nancy immediately shot him a glare. "What's so funny?" Lenard was about to speak when he caught Judson's furious look of anger with a hint of menace, which quickly disappeared.

Judson said, "Babe, he looks creepy when he laughs. Send him away. I don't like him." Lenard's eyes widened in disbelief, pointing at himself. "What? Creepy? Me, known for my charm, creepy?" Even if not as attractive as Judson, Lenard considered himself top-tier handsome.

Lenard couldn't help but turn to Nancy. "Nancy, can you deal with him?" Nancy calmly looked down at Judson. "I want a coffee brewed by you."

Judson was reluctant. "Nancy, do you want to get rid ofso you can talk to Lenard alone?" Her intentions revealed, Nancy nodded. "So, will you makethat coffee?"

Judson hesitated, then, defeated by Nancy's clear ar gaze, stood up with a quiet sigh Buthe quickly kissed

Nancy on the cheek before leaving, a grin spreading across his face as he scampered off.
