Chapter 99 Nancy felt Judson trembling against her and lifted her hand to soothingly pat his back.

"Judson, it's okay, don't worry about me." she said gently.

Truth be told, even if Judson hadn't shown up, she would have been fine, especially with Judson's gun still on her.

But her words only made Judson hold her even tighter, his eyes blazing with intense fury.

How could he not be worried? If he had been with Nancy, who would have dared to touch her! Trying to resist the urge to separate them, Baldrick's sharp gaze suddenly shifted to Susan. "Did you set Kenny up to hurt Lena?" he demanded.

Susan was taken aback! Facing the menacing Baldrick and Judson, and then glancing at Kenny lying on the ground, his face covered in blood, she wondered how things had escalated to this point. It was supposed to be Lena who ended up in trouble, not her.

Completely panicked and mind blank, Susan stammered, "No, it wasn't me. Kenny was just delivering sresources to Lena. I had nothing to do with it." "Is that how you deliver resources?" Baldrick exploded with rage.

Judson's icy stare cut through Susan like a knife. "If you're sick of living, just givethe word, and I'll take care of it," he sneered. His voice, deep and filled with menace, seemed to freeze the air itself.

Susan was terrified. "No, you can't kill me... Kenny is the only son of the Ryans. Lena, you wouldn't want to make an enemy of him, would you?" Judson couldn't help but scoff at Susan's words.

The Ryans? What are they to him! Nancy, on the other hand, looked at Susan with a calm, mocking tone. "So, every tKenny delivers resources to you, you seal the deal with your body?" Susan hadn't expected Nancy to be so blunt. As she stared into Nancy's clear, mocking eyes, she felt a surge of intense embarrassment.

"What's it to you! Lena, if you hadn't gone after Mathew, would I be in this mess?" It was all Lena's fault for making her life miserable! Nancy scoffed coldly. "You dragged Mathew into this mess yourself! If you were confident in your designs, Mathew wouldn't be blacklisted.' Continuing with a sharper tone, Nancy added, "But instead of improving your skills, you choose to blothers while your intentions remain impure. Susan, do you really deserve to call yourself a jewelry designer?" Her voice was cold, filled with disdain.

Susan's face turned ghostly pale, her body trembling uncontrollably. "Shut up... just shut up..." Seeing Susan like this, Nancy's expression turned even more mocking.

"Susan, just imagine what Mathew's wife would do if she found out the baby you're carrying is her husband's, especially with all the you've stirred up. What do you think her reaction would be?" As the reality of the situation hit her, Susan's eyes widened in shock, her last bit of composure disappearing. "You wouldn't dare!" she blurted out.

Mathew's wife was notoriously fierce. If she found out, she would never let Susan off the hook! Nancy spoke without emotion. "Try me. This is your last warning. Mess withagain, and it won't just be about getting blacklisted." The clear, firm tone of her voice left no room for doubt; she was not joking.

Susan felt a cold shiver run down her spine, unable to remain composed.

"Let's go." Nancy took Judson's hand directly.

Judson gave Susan a dark look, full of undisguised malice, and tightly held Nancy's hand as they walked away.

Watching Nancy and Judson leave, Susan panicked at the thought of Nancy telling Mathew's wife, and chased after them without thinking. "Lena, please don't..."

But before she could finish her plea, a tall figure suddenly blocked her path. Just as Susan was about to lash out, Susan w she saw Baldrick standing in front of her, his face grim and his gaze chilling.

Baldrick's lips barely moved as he said, "Susan, it was you who sent Lucy to trouble Lena wasn't it?"M e Susan's Neart pounded as she spoke, her voice quivering with shock, "Mr. Sandro, I have no idea what you're talking about..."
