Chapter 150
"Why are you bringing her up out of the blue?" Finnian snapped, suddenly turning his head. "Have you finished
all your work?"
Will was left speechless. Mr. Everly was known for his calm demeanor, rarely ever raising his voice like now,
especially without provocation. So, Will was momentarily stunned.
He realized he must have struck a nerve, but still felt he hadn't done anything wrong. It seemed the issue lay
with Mr. Everly himself.
"Mr. Everly."
Despite the setback, Will wasn't ready to back down. After a moment's thought, he decided on a different
approach. "Ms. Porter has a couple of scenes to shoot this morning. She's working pretty hard. Maybe you should
go check on her?"
To see Liliana? Finnian's dark gaze remained fixed on his computer, though his mind had already drifted

After a long pause, he stood up and uttered, "Get the car ready. We're going to the set."
A hint of a smile tugged at the corners of Will's mouth, but he maintained his composure. "Alright, I'll go get the
car."
Half an hour later, Finnian found himself outside Liliana's break room. He knocked on the door. Liliana opened it,
her face lighting up upon seeing Finnian and she ushered him in. "Finn, you cto see me? Con in."
She poured him a glass of water, handing it to him with both hands. Finnian took a sip and placed it on the table.
Sitting beside him, Liliana asked what brought him by, if he had already wrapped up his morning work and
whatnot. Finnian rarely visited her spontaneously, so this was a pleasant surprise for Liliana.
However, Finnian didn't seem particularly enthusiastic. He engaged in small talk with Liliana, his expression
slightly tense, frequently glancing towards the door as if distracted.
Liliana gradually calmed down, sensing Finnian's aloofness. What exactly was on his mind?
A vague premonition crept into Liliana's thoughts. Perhaps he was thinking about. She didn't dare pursue that
line of thought, finding it almost unimaginable.
But minutes passed, and Finnian maintained his indifferent
demeanor Growing anxious, Liliana bit her lip and said, "Finn, I've got to tell you something. | saw Keith heading
into Amara's break room just now."
As expected, the mention of Amara caught Finnian's attention. He turned to face her, asking, "When did he go
in?"
Liliana clenched her fists, replying nonchalantly, "About half an hour ago. Once inside, Amara closed the door. No
idea what they're up to."
Finnian's eyes darkened almost immediately. He stood up. "I need to step out for a moment."
"Finn," Liliana called after him, stepping in front of him. "You should really consider finalizing the divorce with Ms.
Sullivan. Dragging it out like this isn't doing anyone any good. | believe Ms. Sullivan isn't a bad person, she
deserves to find her own happiness. Letting her gémight be the best option."
Liliana's heart raced as she spoke, watching Finnian's expression intently His handsface

remained impassive, showing no
signs of displeasure. Liliana exhaled in relief, albeit quietly.
"I'm heading out. You should rest up; you've still got scenes to shoot later," Finnian said without giving Liliana a
reply, sidestepping her and leaving the room.
Finnian made his way across the set to Amara's break room and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Amara's voice cfrom inside.
